More than 50,000 Ford SUVs and trucks recalled across the country
Mustang Mach-E SUVs have been recalled for doors that don’t open while Lincoln Aviators are on the list for doors that could detach while the vehicles are moving.
The most widespread of the recalls issued by Ford and Transport Canada is for 30,000 Mustang Mach-E SUVs because of issues with the 2021-25 vehicles’ doors not opening from the outside.
More than 50,000 Ford vehicles have been recalled across Canada for problems ranging from engines stalling to doors detaching while driving.

Ford says they are contacting owners affected by all the recalls with mailed notices to advise them about what to do next.
Problems with the seats folding and moving unexpectedly also prompted a recall of more than 20,000 other Ford SUVs.
The 2020-25 models of the Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator are being pulled due to the seat issues which could increase injuries during a crash.
The Lincoln Aviators also have problems with rear passenger doors detaching while the vehicles are moving, and potentially causing chaos on the roads.Â
A few thousand 2025 Ford Broncos are also being pulled for issues with the child safety lock. that the left-rear door could open from the inside even if the child safety lock is on. The recall affects only the four-door models of the vehicle.Â
About 400 2025 Ford F-150s were also in the slew of with the government agency saying that the truck could suddenly lose power to its wheels. Certain trucks with a 2.7 L engine have issues with the engine wiring harness where it could become damaged if it hits the coolant hose, which would cause the engine to stall.
Just over 200 other trucks from the company were because of braking issues.
