Limo driver charged with impaired driving after passengers force him to pull over on QEW, police say

One of the ten passengers in the limo told police they forced the driver to the shoulder of the road and took away the keys to the vehicle.

OPP released this photo of a limo that was stopped on the QEW on the night of July 11. The driver was later charged with impaired driving and dangerous operation of a vehicle. 


A limousine driver is facing impaired driving charges after passengers forced him to pull over on the Queen Elizabeth Way in Hamilton earlier this month because they were concerned for their safety, police say. 

Burlington OPP responded to calls of an erratic limousine driver on the QEW near Fifty Road on July 11 shortly before 11 p.m., police said in a news release.
