Just before 10:35 p.m., police responded to calls about gunshots near and found Jeshua Gabriel Buchoon, 36, with gunshot wounds, investigators said in a Thursday.
The ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries but died on Wednesday, police said.

Officials determined that after being shot, Buchoon was struck by the driver of an uninvolved vehicle.

Police found and arrested the suspects nearby, and their charges are expected to be upgraded, investigators said.
A 26-year-old man from Mississauga and a 22-year-old man from ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ are each facing multiple charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm.
The incident involving the driver of an uninvolved vehicle is under investigation, and no charges have been laid, officers added.
Driver ‘drove right over’ the victim, witness said
The Star previously spoke to Reddit posters who claimed to have witnessed the incident.
One, who declined to give their name citing safety concerns, heard a gunshot while on their balcony facing the corner of Adelaide Street West and John Street. Looking down, they saw people in the middle of John Street fighting a man in a dark T-shirt, the poster told the Star.

“There were more gunshots and then the guy in the dark shirt was lying in the middle of the road. A white mini then drove right toward the guy and drove right over him and seemed to drive straight down toward John and King,†the person added.
Police did not confirm the veracity of the witness account.
Buchoon’s death marks the city’s 24th homicide of the year, investigators said.
