A part of Simcoe Street was closed after glass fell from the 18th floor of highrise TD Terrace in downtown ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ on Thursday, police said.
Police were called to the northeast corner of  around 3 p.m. on Wednesday after a window on the office tower, at , cracked and shattered, sending glass onto the sidewalk below.Â
No injuries have been reported, officers said Friday morning.
“We can confirm that a partial pane of glass fell from the building onto Simcoe Street on Thursday afternoon,” Cadillac Fairview, the building’s developer, said in an email to the Star Friday. “Thankfully no one was hurt and the area had already been proactively secured by security and ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Police Service.”

They are working with police and contractors to manage the situation and ensure tenant and public safety, Cadillac Fairview added.
