Part of Simcoe Street closed after glass falls from commercial building
Simcoe Street is currently closed from Front Street to Wellington Street after officers responded to reports of a cracked window in a commercial building.
A part of Simcoe Street is closed after a pane of glass fell from a commercial building in downtown ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Wednesday, police said.Â
Officers were called to the northeast corner of  around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, where a cracked window in a building had shattered, sending glass onto the sidewalk below.Â
No injuries have been reported, officers said Friday morning.
A video posted to social media shows a gaping hole in a window of a high-rise building located on Front Street with police tape cordoning off an area of the sidewalk around the building.
