Peel police arrest 12, lay over 130 charges after investigation into ‘brutal’ home invasions and thefts
Officials announced the results as part of an investigation into “brutal” home invasions and jewellery robberies, dubbed Project Night Train, in a press conference Tuesday.
Twelve people have been arrested and 136 charges have been laid after an investigation into a “violent criminal network” linked to 17 home invasions and thefts across Peel region, police said.

Out of approximately $2 million in property since January 2024, nearly half has been recovered, Peel police said.

Although 12 suspects were arrested, one remains sought by police, adding they are appealing to the public for information.
The string of thefts left over 60 victims, including nine children witness to theft crimes, Deputy Chief Nick Milinovich said.
Out of the 13 identified suspects, six were minors at the time of the offence, police said.
Last week, Peel police arrested 13 people between the ages of 15 to 24 years old and laid 197 charges in an organized crime bust related to a series of home invasions.
