ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ man charged with impaired operation after passenger falls off boat, dies on Weslemkoon Lake
Ontario Provincial Police say a 22-year-old man fell overboard on Weslemkoon Lake, northwest of Kingston near Bon Echo Provincial Park, and was found dead 12 hours later.Â
A 21-year-old man from ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ is facing multiple charges, including impaired operation, after a boating incident in eastern Ontario left another ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ man dead.
Ontario Provincial Police were called to , northwest of Kingston near Bon Echo Provincial Park, around 7:45 a.m. Saturday after a 22-year-old man fell off a boat.
A co-ordinated response was launched involving OPP marine and aviation units, the Underwater Search and Recovery Unit and Joint Rescue Coordination Centre.Â

Police recovered the man’s body around 12 hours later, OPP said in a news release Sunday. Investigators told the Star they will not be identifying the victim.
A man, 21, who is believed to have been operating the boat, has been charged with dangerous operation causing death, operating while impaired and operating with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.Â
