Niagara Regional Police have charged a 53-year-old Niagara Falls man with more than 80 offences related to historic sexual assaults against children between 1991 and 2024.
A 53-year-old Niagara Falls man previously charged with numerous child sex assault offences dating as far back as the mid-1990s has now been charged with more than 81 additional crimes.
On Thursday, Niagara Regional Police said an investigation was launched in the spring after new allegations of historic sexual assaults were reported.
The investigation involved the NRP’s child abuse, internet child exploitation, homicide and centralized fraud units, along with uniform patrol.

Police said it culminated with investigators laying 81 charges for offences committed between 1991 and 1994 that involve 16 victims — 14 boys and two girls — ranging in age from eight to 17.
Todd Douglas Willston has been charged with numerous sexual assault offences, as well as charges related to child pornography and voyeurism.
Police said the accused was employed as a school bus driver in Niagara Falls and has been a karate instructor.
He was first arrested in November 2024 and accused of sexually assaulting a boy younger than 16. At the time, police said it was believed there may be further victims.
Willston was arrested again in December and charged with 10 offences.
Police said investigators believe there still may be more victims who have not yet come forward.
Police said aliases used by the accused included Doug Williston, Todd Helmes, Uncle Doug, Plebber and Chubby Todd. His online account names included variations of Plebber, Chubby Todd and Snake Den.

In a statement, Police Chief Bill Fordy said the scale and nature of the allegations are “deeply troubling.â€
He said police are committed to protecting people most at risk and holding offenders to account.
“This kind of predatory behaviour will not be tolerated in our community,†he said in a news release.
