EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Starting left tackle Andrew Thomas will open New York Giants training camp on the physically unable to perform list as he works back from surgery in October to repair a Lisfranc injury in his right foot.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Starting left tackle Andrew Thomas will open New York Giants training camp on the physically unable to perform list as he works back from surgery in October to repair a Lisfranc injury in his right foot.

Thomas, 26, was not on the field during offseason workouts. , along with running back Eric Gray, means Thomas is not ready to practice but can be activated at any time before cutdown day in late August to be eligible to play this season.
