Paramedics took the stabbing victim, who they confirmed was an adult male, to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died. 

One male suspect has been arrested, officers say.

Speaking to media at the scene, ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ police Duty Insp. Brian Maslowski called the fatal stabbing a “very serious homicide investigation.” 

Maslowski could not confirm the relationship between the suspect and victim but said the two are known to each other. 

The force’s homicide unit is investigating. Police are combing the scene to gather evidence and are appealing for witnesses with any information, urging them to call 55 Division at 416-808-5500. 

Information is limited at this stage in the investigation, Maslowski said.
