A Peel police officer was hospitalized after being struck by a motorcyclist in a Mississauga hit-and-run Tuesday afternoon.

Officers say they attempted to stop an off-road motorcycle-style bike that was observed performing wheelies and driving erratically around 3:30 p.m. near .
