660,000 safety outlets sold at ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Hardware recalled across Canada due to fire risk

The company that makes the Electrical Devices GFCI says it has gotten 812 reports of faulty screws and one report of a fire.

The recalled safety outlets have UPC codes of 822733135640, 822733135626 and 822733135664.


More than 660,000 safety outlets that were sold at ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Hardware are being pulled from shelves across Canada due to the risk of fire.

The Electrical Devices GFCI outlet is being recalled because its screws are not able to tighten properly,  The agency warns that loose screws could increase the temperature and pose a fire hazard.
